The Gold Coast Broadwater is renowned for its calming waters and white sandy beaches. It is hugely popular for boating and offers a safe access to the ocean through The Spit and Gold Coast seaway.

Fishing is also very popular. There are many areas to fish from the shore or beach or you can hire small boats or charter deep sea fishing boats. You can also enjoy windsurfing, kite surfing, speed boating, jet skis and parasailing along The Broadwater.

Kite Surfing
Kite surfing is another surface water sport combining aspects of wakeboarding, windsurfing, surfing, paragliding, and gymnastics into one extreme sport. Kite surfing enthusiasts ride on a modified surfboard while holding on to a specially designed kite, harnessing the wind to propel them to often exhilarating speeds.

The Gold Coast is blessed with a variety of scenic parks… to enjoy, simply roll out a blanket, pick up a book or your favourite magazine, or just sit and gaze out at the view.
